Jesus is nailed to the Cross

Leader: O Jesus, nailed to the cross, teach me to forgive my enemies as You did, and forget the wrongs that have been done to me.

Leader: We adore you, O Christ and we praise you.

Response: Because by your Holy Cross, you have redeemed the world.

Leader: Having arrived at the place called Calvary, they crucified him there, and with two thieves, one on the right, the other on the left and Jesus in the midst. My people, what have I done to you? I exalted you with great power, and you have hanged me on the gibbet of the Cross.
